There are several ways you can contribute to Razor Thoughts (and don’t worry, none of them involve giving me money =))
1) Writing and art:
You can contribute to any of the following sections:
- Poetry: Tell us about your experience through poems.
- Art: Tell us about your experience through art.
- Journal: Tell us about your experience through old or new journal entries or articles.
- Expert opinions: Are you a professional working with an organization related to self-injury? Share your expertise.
- People you may know: Are you a famous writer, musician, actor, designer, or athlete? In this section people that kids may know and admire tell about their experience and how they overcame the pain.
Just send your entry to razorthoughts@gmail.com
If you are a celebrity or expert, please send us a link to your website or organization.
When you send in your work, please keep in mind that we have a Creative Commons “Attribution Non-Commercial No Derivatives” license. This means that others have permission to download and share this site’s content as long as they mention and link back to Razor Thoughts. However, the contents can’t be changed or used commercially.
2) Spread the Word
The more people who know about and contribute to Razor Thoughts, the better. More shared experiences means more understanding of self-injury. Please let other people know about this blog.
3) Translators
I hope to make Razor Thoughts an international experience. Currently, entries can be sent to Razor Thoughts in Spanish, French, and English. I will publish all these in original language and in English. However, unfortunately, my language skills stop there. If you can translate any other language into English, we may need your help! Just let us know if you are available to translate any entries that may come in.
